Hello everyone, how are you all doing? It’s our 21st day of being in quarantine and if you’ve read my previous post, you’ll know that we cannot really leave our house and go outside to take some walks. We can only go outside if we need to buy groceries and such.
Throughout the whole quarantine, every time I wake up, I always think of what I’m going to do the whole day. Sometimes I open my social media accounts, engage with the discussions going on, and then I rest because if I continue doing that, for sure it will affect my mental health. I hope you do that, too. I hope you take breaks on social media because it can really get so stressful due to a lot of news going on. I really hope that very soon enough, we’ll receive updates that our world is finally coronavirus free. I can’t wait for that day.
I’ve been writing in this blog since 2016, and I only shared a few of my poems. I do like writing poetry and proses even though I don’t think that I write that good. Sometimes, I just write whatever’s going on with my mind because it keeps me sane and gives me relief that finally, I have voiced it out.
Oh music, art and poetry. These are definitely the things that we live for.
Here are some of my poems. I hope you enjoy it!!
As you can see, some of my poems are shared on twitter and some are in my iPhone notes. I badly miss my poetry notebook which I’ve left in Manila as well. Do you guys have a separate notebook for your poems/writings as well?
I hope you enjoyed reading these! More can be seen in my twitter account and if you leave a comment of your twitter username, I’d gladly follow you there! 😊 Thanks for reading and I’ll see you in my next post!
Do you write poems as well to voice out your thoughts or feelings? ❤️
On a side note, please stay at home and don’t go out unless very necessary. Practice social distancing if you do. Salute to all the front liners risking their own lives to help in this whole situation. Speak up to the government if they’re not doing their part. Wash your hands and avoid touching your face. Contact your families, relatives and friends who are far away from you, make sure they are safe and well. Pray deeper. Stay safe everyone!
