It’s December 1st! It honestly feels like it’s just March yesterday and I was just about to go home from school because there’ll be an enhanced community quarantine to stop the spread of the virus. A lot of things happened after that and it’s just so crazy how time went by! I still can’t believe it but I hope you are all feeling well! And as for today’s post, I will share my December journal setup!
December 2020 Journal Setup
Starting with the December page design, here it is! I was highly inspired by the video of Amanda Rach Lee (which I will link down below) and decided to recreate it myself! It’s not as pretty as hers but I tried. Besides, I’ve stopped journaling and just started again last October so I needed some inspirations to come through! I’m so glad how this turned out, though. Amanda used a lot of stamps in hers and I don’t really have one so I’m planning to invest and buy stamps.
Like Amanda’s, I really wanted my December designs to have a vintage-ish and homey feels, so the Christmas designs are not that extravagant. You will notice I only used few colors too!

Going on to the next page, my December calendar.
Since I still have space on the right side, I decided to put and list all the important things I need to do for the month. So far, I have only listed due dates for my academic papers. The rest are to follow.
The last one is for my weekly time block spread.
Time blocking is something I’ve started in Google Calendar, but I couldn’t keep up with it, so I incorporated it into my journal. This way, I can see it more because my journal is always in my desk.
Before I started to do this, I’ve watched tips on how to do it well and one thing I remember the most is that: time blocking doesn’t happen overnight. I’m still working on my way to be consistent and follow what’s written in my time block, but of course if I have to make adjustments, I gladly do so. Still, this weekly spread has helped me a lot to accomplish tasks I need to do.
If you’re curious about the colors, here’s the list:
- Blue – Rest
- Orange – Routines
- Pink – Study
- Yellow – Others
- Blue Green/Green – Blog

And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed my December journal setup. I would love to see yours as well, so link it down in the comments below!
I’m still thinking whether to continue participating in Blogmas– well, you’ll probably know if I’ve decided to take part in my next posts. But maybe for now, this is the first ever post for my Blogmas this year. I’d also love to know if you’re doing Blogmas! Tell me in the comments and maybe we can collab? 🙂
Thank you so much for reading. Once again, I hope you’re all well!
