April 2020 Goals

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! As you can see in the title, I am writing my April 2020 goals and I’ll be sharing them with you. I haven’t written something like this for a long time and if you’ve been following my blog before, I definitely love listing my goals and reread it from time to time so that I can see my progress.

For a long time, I haven’t been disciplined enough to accomplish my monthly goals. But now that I am (as we all are, I think) on quarantine, there’d be no more excuses this time. While I’m at home, I really want to become more aware of my own self and what’s happening around me and I still want to grow even if I can’t go outside and have new experiences or meet new people. So here it is, my April 2020 goals!

And oh one last thing, I’ve been looking at my past monthly goals posts and I noticed that I divide my goals in twofold: personal and blogging. I will do the same for today so yeah, keep on reading! ๐Ÿ™‚

Personal Goals:

1. Wake up early.

Because I definitely need to. It’s become my bad habit to wake up or get out of my bed at around 11 am and I’ll have breakfast by then. I think a lot of time’s been wasted so I definitely need to change this one. I’d love to wake up at 8 am or 8:30 am because it’s not too early and neither it is too late.

2. Exercise

I’ve been staying inside our house since March 15th… and honestly I’m not even exercising or walking around the house. My usual routine has been like this: wake up, eat, go to my bedroom and use my phone, take a bath, phone again, eat, watch movie or something, blog, then sleep. *cries miserably* Even though I eat healthy food most of the time because my mom cooks a lot of healthy ones, I still think I’m unhealthy because I haven’t been exercising. I can’t even remember the last time I became tired physically. T____T SOOOO this is definitely a must!!!! ๐Ÿ™

If you have exercise routines that you’d like to share with me, please do. I’d gladly read and follow it!

3. Finish reading My April 2020 TBR

If you would like to see my TBR, then click the link above! Update on it: I’m halfway reading the first book listed there and I’m so far loving it!

4. Do more artworks at Procreate

I told you before that I’m still new at Procreate and up until now, I can say that I’m still at beginner level because I easily get confused at the layers and the brushes and its settings. I want to do more artworks this month and see my progress at the end of the month. I think I’ve been doing digital artworks for like three times a week last month and I think it’s a good start. Plus, I really want to learn lettering or calligraphy in Procreate as well.ย So yep, it’s added in my goal!

5. Write more.

Aside from this blog, I also want to write more about my reflections and stuff. And oh, poetry! I do have a twitter account wherein I post all my poems and stuff. I don’t really like to share it here publicly so if you’d like to, leave your twitter usernames below and I’ll follow you using that account. ๐Ÿ™‚

6. Grow deeper in prayers.

With everything that’s happening now, I think I need to grow deeper in prayers because aside from speaking up in my social media accounts, the best thing I can do to help in this chaos is to pray for everyone.

Blogging Goals:

1. Get back on track.

As you’ve read in myย Life Update | Iโ€™M BACK! + College Life, Enhanced Community Quarantine? post, I disappeared in this platform and stopped writing. So now, I really want to get back on track and do the things that I’ve been doing before like communicating with a lot of you. Oh I miss the good old times!!

2. Manage my blogging schedule.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot now. Before I’ve tried having schedules or something but it just didn’t work. I still write whenever I want to and post whenever I want to. This is how it works for me BUT I really want to be more organized this time. But hey, April might be an exception because I’ve been thinking of posting everyday this month.ย I don’t really wanna say this because I probably would just fail at it BUT I’m SURE that you’ll be seeing me most of the times in your reader. ๐Ÿ˜‰

3. Meet new blogging friends and reconnect with the old ones.

I was thinking to make it my goal to have 2k followers in this blog before this month ends because I’ve read my post last 2017 aboutย Some Cool Blogging Tips To Increase Your Followers and I’ve said it before that if for example I want to have 10 new followers of my blog today, then I must visit 20 to 30 blogs.

But now, I just really want to meet new blogging friends. Someone that I’d connect with and someone that I’d support all throughout. And also, I’d really want to reconnect with the old ones BECAUSE I definitely miss all of them.

And that’s it for my April 2020 goals! I really do hope I make big progress in everything that I’ve written here.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. ๐Ÿ™‚

What are your April 2020 goals?

On a side note, please stay at home and donโ€™t go out unless very necessary. Practice social distancing if you do. Salute to all the front liners risking their own lives to help in this whole situation. Speak up to the government if theyโ€™re not doing their part. Wash your hands and avoid touching your face. Contact your families, relatives and friends who are far away from you, make sure they are safe and well. Stay safe everyone!ย
